Welcome to the NMC website

The NMC website was developed to provide:

• Entities involved in the modeling and fashion industry with an interactive, affordable, transparent and user-friendly online platform to promote and manage themselves or their businesses; and
• Clients with an affordable, interactive and user-friendly online platform which will assist in simplifying the casting and booking processes used to find the appropriate talent.

The various interactive promotional platforms making up the NMC website will allow:

• a business or individual the opportunity to create an online profile for themselves
• a business the opportunity to create online profiles for their models / members
• a business or individuals with an interactive diary/ies to manage their models / members or themselves
• free access to the public wanting to view the above-mentioned online profiles
• a free online search engine to assist both the public and clients in finding the appropriate model and/or service provider
• a client access to an interactive and affordable casting facility and booking system
• a competition owner with a platform from which to promote their competitions to the public and members
• a business or individuals affiliated to the NMC an interactive platform from which to promote their workshops, courses, diplomas and photo shoots.
• a business or individuals access to a collection platform
• a business or individuals access to a SMS and email communication platform
• a business or individuals the opportunity to create their own branded website coupled to the NMC website

To enjoy the benefits offered by NMC a person, business or client has to become a member. In order to become a member you must complete the online registration process set out below. This involves the following:

• Supplying certain contact details and personal information
• Signing a monthly debit order / credit card billing.

Individuals and businesses who wish to join the NMC family need only pay a monthly subscription fee of R60.00 (per category) per person / business. The membership works from month to month and no long term contract needs to be signed. All registered members also receive a free webmail account.

Monthly membership fees are charged from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the following month and where you are a member for any part of the month a full month membership fee will apply.

Members can register under the following categories:

• Agency
• Agent
• Booker
• Modeling School
• Model
• Make-Up Artist
• Competition Owner
• Hairstylist
• Stylist
• Team Manager

Members must initially register for one of the above-mentioned categories after which they will become a PROFILE HOLDER. Once a profile holder they will gain access to their own portal management system which will allow them access to their profile, once logged in, where they can edit it, / or add photos and perform numerous functions.

A profile holder, with the exception of a model, can also add members under them for whom they must take full payment and contractual liability for any amounts due to NMC. A profile holder will be charged R40.00 per month for every member registered under their profile. The billing will also work from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the following month.

An additional R5.00 administration fee will be charged per member should the profile holder utilize our collection platform to collect his/her/their monthly fees from said members. The NMC will only collect from the said member upon receipt of a signed debit order authorization form. If not in possession of said form the NMC will accordingly charge the profile holders account with R40.00.

Profile holders who register minors (members under the age of 18 years) onto their profiles are compelled to keep on file the written consent authorization from the respective guardian or parents of the said minor.

In order to cast and book members a profile holder must register as a booker (or add this category to their existing profile). If you are not registered as a booker the system will prompt you to register.

Entities registering as an Agency, Agent, Modeling School, Photographer, Make-Up Artist, Competition Owner, Team Manager, Hair Stylist and Stylist will automatically fall within the ambit of our business forum and will feature in the directory of the Fashion Forum.

Bookers become part of the booker’s forum and will also feature in the directory of the Bookers Table. Team Managers form part of and feature in the directory of the Team Forum. Competition Owners form part of and feature in the directory of Competitions Forum.

Individuals registering as models form part of the Casting Studio and will feature within the ambit of the Casting Studio Advanced Search Directory.

Upon joining all models will be classified as commercial models. Re-classification to other categories, High Fashion and Commercial Plus - will be at the sole and absolute discretion of NMC, without having to provide any reason therefore. Members 14 years and under will however remain commercial kid models and will not be re-classified until they reach the age of 15 and are found candidates to be moved into another category. All photographs loaded will also be activated only once approved by the NMC administrator.

Profile holders who create their own websites via the NMC white labeling application will however not be subjected to the classification and photo approval processes as profile holders who choose not create their own websites.
