STAFF IN STYLE is a voluntary association of independent and experienced booking (casting) agents based throughout South Africa who have realized the benefits of utilizing the NMC website in streamlining and simplifying their casting processes.
The key function of the booking agents associated with the STAFF IN STYLE brand is to utilize the NMC database as their primary scouting source when seeking, identifying, casting and booking potential brand ambassadors, ages 18 and above, for a specific client/s and job.
In most instances the booking agent will receive a brief from a client or casting director and he/she will then begin to search the NMC database for people who are right for a specific job. The ADVANCED SEARCH ENGINE built into the CASTING STUDIO has been developed and structured to make the scouting task of finding the right candidate for a job simpler and more cost-effective.
Once a model has been found the booking agent can then also utilize the dynamic NMC casting platform to book the model immediately, send through a list of candidates to the client to view or request the candidates to attend an scheduled audition.
In essence the booking agent will help clear the way for the candidate, but it is the responsibility of the candidates to secure the interest of the client and be hired for the job. Once the job is secured the booking agent will then take care of the contractual side of things.
The booking agents associated with STAFF IN STYLE will not charge a model a commission fee for securing a job but will charge the client a booking fee for finding the right candidate for the job. The booking agent is however also in a position to charge an additional “management fee” should a client request that he/she manage the model on site after the conclusion of the contract.
On the other hand an independant model or NMC member can approach a STAFF IN STYLE booking agent to assist with the negotiation and management of a job offering that has been received via the NMC platform. The booking agent will then charge the independant a “management fee” for services to be rendered.
